Do you know how to do your own eyebrows? Are you one of those lucky makeup fanatics that lived through the 90s and ended up with some…over-tweezed skinny brows? Or are you one of those lucky people blessed with #OnFleek full brows?! Either way, we have some tips and tricks to help you get the brows of your dreams!
First things first: in case you’ve been living under a rock, we have some rooooockin’ brow products. Our OG brow product is Queen of the Fill Brow Gel! It’s an easy to use gel that you can swipe over your brows to sculpt your brows and get spares hairs and conceals those pesky gray hairs. It comes in 5 shades (Blonde, Medium, Dark, Auburn, and Black), so there’s a shade for everyone!
Next up in the makeup arsenal is our Queen of the Fill Brow Pomade! Obviously, brow gels and brow pomades are different, and pomades are generally used for a more defined brow look.
To use, grab a small angled brush (ahem—our Small Angled Eyebrow Brush is great, in case you’re wondering) and dip it into the formula. Then, take the cap and gently wipe the excess product on the inside. Once you’ve done that, go to town on those brows! This one also comes in 5 shades: Blonde/Light, Auburn, Dark Chocolate, Espresso, and Night.
As mentioned above, we also have a Small Angled Eyebrow Brush! It’s a must-have for sculpting those perfect, flawless brows. The brush itself has densely packed bristles, so that means precision is a piece of cake. The other end of the brush has a spoolie, which you can use after filling in your brows to “blend” everything in and groom those brows into place.
Okay, so now that all that is out of the way, make was for our 10 tips and tricks!
Well, brows are a personal thing and totally can pull a look together easily. Whether you’re using the brow gel to just fill in and generally shape your brows or the pomade to get that flawless, precise look, both products frame your face. This means your eyebrow shape can balance out the fullness of your face!
You have a few options. With the Queen of the Fill Eyebrow Gel, you can just use the spoolie that comes in the component. If you’re using the pomade, a small angled brush will be your best friend.
They should match the roots of your hair if you’re going for a natural look! But you can go crazy and use whatever color floats your boat. Maybe we should make a pink brow gel?
So, this one is actually easy to answer! Take either a small angled brush or your tweezers and place it on either side of your nose. Where the brush/tweezer hits the innermost part is where your eyebrows should start. Then, hold your tool of choice diagonally from the outermost part of your nose to the outer corner of your eye. This is where your brow should naturally end!
That’s totally up to you! Some people like a more “bushy” and “natural” eyebrow look and some people like a more shapely one. It’s all about preference. Always remember: follow your natural shape and Google some inspo brows that match!
Again, totally up to you! Currently, the trend is thick eyebrows. But if you personally gravitate to thinner brows go ham.
There are multiple face shapes (oval, round, long, diamond, square, and heart-shaped), and you can find visual examples all over the internet! (What would we be without the Internet)?
Gel helps you get a more natural look while pomade is generally used for a sharper, more defined brow
Firstly, you can use our Queen of the Fill Brow Gel. Gel is a softer look and easy to use. But making sure you run a spoolie through your brows will soften the look up.
Make sure you use a brow gel! It’ll set your brow hairs and make them stay in place all day.
And there you have it! Literally eeeeverything you need to know about brows. Show us your favorite brows looks and techniques!
