Tell us about yourself in 50 words or less. We want to know one or two things that you'd want someone to know about you?

My name is Allison, but most call me Allie. I am a recent college grad who just made her dream of moving to NYC a reality. I am a journalist exploring the world through the eyes of a millennial feminist. I have a blog where I explore beauty, politics, fashion, food and essentially everything that sparks my interest. I love to dance and just absorb my surroundings, trying to remember the beauty of everyday and life itself.

What are you most grateful for in life?

I am most grateful for my family.

Who do you find beautiful – and what makes them beautiful to you?

I think my sisters are both beautiful because they truly know how to be themselves and I think that is the most beautiful quality anyone can hold.

Was there ever a time that you felt ugly? What happened and how did you react?

There are times I haven't felt beautiful because I would compare my body to models in magazines. I felt like I could never look like them.

Based on the time above, when did you realize that you were beautiful?

I realized that those images aren't always real and that being healthy and feeling great is what a beautiful body and life are all about.

What makes you beautiful?

I think that my ability to make others smile makes me beautiful because making others feel good is important.

How has your idea of beauty changed over the years?

At first, I thought beauty was all based on looks, but now I think that there are so many different beautiful features one can have that what truly makes someone beautiful is their personality and how they treat others.

If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Stop worrying about everyone else and just worry about what makes you happy.
