Hi there! I am a 22 year college student attending Arizona State University while pursing my bachelors in Communications with a minor in Media Analysis. I am a lover of fashion, French fries, basketball, and dreams.
What are you most grateful for in life?
I most grateful for the love from my family/friends and great health.
Who do you find beautiful – and what makes them beautiful to you?
The laughter of other people is something I find to be beautiful. The look of pure happiness shining from inside to outside is truly something to find beautiful.
Was there ever a time that you felt ugly? What happened and how did you react?
Being a young girl in middle school and high school were hard times for me to feel my beauty. You come across people who deem to set expectations to what beauty is. I reacted by staying true to myself, learning and realizing the truth of what beauty really is. It is inside everyone!
When did you realize you were beautiful?
I realized I was beautiful by the way I make people feel about themselves. Being able to make one laugh, and being the reasons someone believes in the goodness of people in this world is when I felt my beauty.
What makes you beautiful?
What makes me beautiful is the happiness I want to spread through those who surround me, the color of my skin, and the confidence I received through years of acceptance and learning.
How has your idea of beauty changed over the years?
I think my view of beauty has not changed much but only better. When I think of beauty I think of who can make my heart burst into happiness.
If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Do not let people dictate who you are. Life is too short to listen to ignorance of others. Always be true to yourself as this is YOUR life.
