Born Beautiful story @hannah_keely

Tell us about yourself in 50 words or less. We want to know one or two things that you'd want someone to know about you?

I'm working on it..

What are you most grateful for in life?

The times in life you find water as thick as blood.

Was there ever a time that you felt ugly? What happened and how did you react?

Let's be real ladies, we all feel that way at least once a month.
I honestly get disappointed in myself. I'm ultimately not dissatisfied for being too thick, not having glowing skin, or my lack of style. I'm rattled that the way I perceive myself is lessened because of my vanity. It can be a crippling mental combat to assure yourself you're worthwhile.

What makes you beautiful?

I seek no approval.

How has your idea of beauty changed over the years?

I used to view beauty as a uniform, that we must always mold to the same configuration of standards. Now I appreciate the beauty in everyone. We're laced up and intricately packaged by our crooked smiles, thick legs, nappy hair, and bizarre quirks. The fact that all 7 billion of us are diverse is what makes us each mind-blowingly beautiful.

If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Honestly, no one cares. We are our own worst critic and it's outrageous for us to believe people have us on a rotating judgement stool. After all your physical skin is only a shell for your soul to dwell.
